I'm Bojan First, and I want to tell you about the new podcast I will be hosting and producing called Futures Possible.
Every episode starts with me asking my guests to imagine a future and themselves in it.
For many years, I worked at a university where my job was to help rural regions and communities imagine a future for themselves. I don't do that work anymore. But I was wondering what would happen if I used those same principles of group discussion facilitation and turned those principles into an interview guide? And what if I helped my guests imagine a future for themselves? And what would we learn about each other once we hear 15 or 50 or 100 such futures?
So that's what Futures Possible is about. Some of my guests you may know, others will be strangers living nearby or far away, and just maybe, with enough of those stories, we can come together and imagine a future with all of us in it. The episodes will be released bi-weekly. The first episode will come out on September 8. You can subscribe to the show wherever you listen to your podcasts or visit futurespossible.com.
